Montessori care and education, from six weeks to six years
Little Scholars Academy of California opened in Orange in 2016 and serves families across Orange County, from Orange and Anaheim to Irvine and beyond, with Montessori-based programs for children from 6 weeks through age 6: infant care, toddler care, and preschool through TK/Kindergarten, all under one roof.
Our lead teachers hold certification through the American Montessori Society (AMS) or the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Every classroom is a prepared environment, child-sized, ordered, and designed so children can do real, purposeful work. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with the Infant Center open 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM. For most Orange County families an early start is not optional. It is how the whole day works.

The prepared classroom
Materials sit on open shelves at children's height, furniture is sized for them, and everything has a place. It tells a child's brain this is a safe, predictable place to work and grow.
Certified, unhurried teachers
Every lead teacher holds AMS or AMI certification, but what you will see on a tour is teachers who move quietly, crouch to a child's level, and give each child the time they need.
Hours that fit real life
We open at 7:00 AM and stay until 6:00 PM, year-round, because Orange County families have long workdays and commutes. The Infant Center runs 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM. You should never choose between your child's education and getting to work.

We serve families from across Orange County, and many have been with us for years, sending their neighbors, relatives, and friends. That word-of-mouth is the measure we are proudest of.

Our educators thoughtfully observe and guide each child, supporting their unique interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
